first thought, what is wrong here? 

i don’t remember what i did with my time before tumblr and one direction came into my life
I want a Tumblr friend. I want a best friend on Tumblr, who I tell my secrets to, who I text 24/7 and who thinks the same things are funny as me. I want a Tumblr friend who won’t judge, who will give me advice and who I can go to for anything. I want a Tumblr friend who reblogs the same things I do and who likes the same things as me. I want a Tumblr friend.

i’ve been holding back on my tumblr. i always think twice about what i reblog; i want to please my followers. i try posting things that will get lots of notes. 

i’m going to stop doing that. 

i want to be able to look at my tumblr for inspiration, and not think of it as something i did to please others. too much of my energy is already spent doing that. 

the main reason i joined tumblr was to express my thoughts creatively, and i have certainly not been doing enough of that.

this doesn’t mean i don’t want new followers, but it means that i’m going to start showing myself through my posts, and not just showing what i think will be popular. and i think people will appreciate that even more.
